The Diocesan Youth Leadership Camp is a 6-day camp (June 16-21, 2024), aims at equipping young disciples of Jesus Christ with the tools and skills they need to go and make more disciples.
The weeklong camp is planned and presented by a team of both adults and young people. It teaches basic leadership skills in the context of discipleship including communications and small group dynamics while also emphasizing the importance of building trust and fostering servant leadership. As an applicant you should:
• Be attending and participating in Holy Mass at least weekly;
• Be active in your parish (participants should have attended at least one retreat experience);
• Demonstrate potential leadership skills;
• Be able to participate in small group situations.
• Currently be in high school. (i.e. upcoming Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors and those graduating).
