Worship and Social Justice Coordinator

St Patrick Parish, Brighton 
St. Patrick Parish in Brighton, MI seeks full-time person, salaried with benefits, for Worship and Social Justice Coordinator.  Ministry includes working with clergy, pastoral staff and worship commission to recruit, train and schedule liturgical ministers; plan liturgical seasons and sacramental celebrations, and oversee the art and environment committee.  The position also includes working with pastoral staff, the parish justice and service commission and parish volunteers to develop, create, plan, recruit, organize and implement opportunities and programs for parishioners, community outreach, political advocacy and Christian service programs. Foster Care Case Manager

Part-Time Liturgical Music Director

St. Anthony Catholic Parish, Hillsdale

St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish in Hillsdale, Michigan is seeking candidates for the part-time, salaried position of Liturgical Music Director. The Liturgical Music Director will be responsible for organ/piano accompaniment at all Masses and liturgical functions at St. Anthony’s, planning and selecting liturgical music for these liturgies, developing and directing the Parish choir, cantor training and scheduling, and encouraging and supporting congregational singing.  The ideal candidate should have a degree in music performance or a related field, a love for the liturgy, a working knowledge of Catholic liturgical rubrics, history and tradition as they apply to music, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexibly with a wide variety of people. Part-time Chaplain 

U of M Health System
The Spiritual Care Department at the University of Michigan Health System is currently seeking a 15 hr/wk priest to provide on-call coverage in the evenings for Roman Catholic sacramental needs.
A successful candidate will assess and evaluate the religious and spiritual needs of patients, families and staff and work as member of the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients. Participate in a rotational on-call. Serve as liaison to community religious leaders while representing the institution to the public. Participate in educational programs as appropriate.
Required qualifications are a Master of Divinity or equivalent, ordained Roman Catholic priest with permission to function in the Diocese of Lansing.
Desired qualifications include Clinical Pastoral Education, certification or eligible for certification by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains or the Association of Professional Chaplains, experience as a community pastor, and experience in hospital chaplaincy.

Immigration Staff Attorney

The Diocese of Grand Rapids is seeking a full-time Immigration Staff Attorney to join the Immigration Legal Services office.  The position will provide high-quality legal representation before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and U.S. Department of State and manage a substantial case load.  The Immigration Staff Attorney will coordinate all aspects of a client's case, including client communication, preparing immigration forms, relevant research, drafting personal statements, writing briefs and compiling evidence.  Desired start date is November 19, 2014.


Immigration Legal Services is designed to provide low-cost, legal representation in immigration matters to a community whose household income falls at or below 200% of the poverty guideline.  The focuses of ILS are on family-based immigration matters, including petitions for relatives, adjustment of status  and consular processing, as well as cases involving citizenship, TPS, battered immigrant relief (including VAWA and U Visas), and waivers of inadmissibility.  ILS represents clients in front of US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Department of State.

Business Administrator

Blessed Sacrament Parish has an opening for a Parish Business Administrator.  This full time position will be responsible for the coordination and management of the human, financial, and physical resources of the parish.  The Business Administrator is responsible for general accounting activities, billing and accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, facility & asset management and planning, as well as month-end reporting.  This position also requires expertise in marketing and communication.  The Business Administrator reports to the Pastor.  Some evenings and weekends are required.

The qualified candidate will have:

•       A Bachelor’s degree in business administration (MBA preferred), accounting, finance or a related field. Minimum of five years successful parish experience coordinating a total parish administration, demonstrated competence and experience in all areas or similar experience.
