Director of Faith Formation and Social Ministry

St. Michael Parish, Grand Ledge

St. Michael Parish in Grand Ledge is seeking a new member of our team to direct faith formation for the parish and minister to adults.  A successful candidate is a faith-filled Catholic possessing personal, professional, leadership, management and computer skills.  Areas of responsibility include directing RCIA, Adult Faith Formation, and Social Ministry, while also overseeing faith formation for the parish as whole.  This staff member works closely with the Pastor, adult faith leaders and a number of dedicated volunteers to implement the mission of St. Michael Parish.  Master's degree in Theology or a Ministry-related field is preferred.  Forty hours per week; benefits package available.  Salary is commensurate with background.  Interested individuals may submit a resume with references and a cover letter to our Pastor, Fr. Coordinator of Child and Family Ministry

6th Grade Teacher

Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church is a small parish, serving 390 families and a school Pre-K – 8th grade, located near Brighton, MI and is seeking to fill the position of the Director of Liturgical Music.

This position is responsible for developing, planning and directing all liturgical music in the parish.
A profound understanding of liturgy, proficiency at playing the organ, experience with directing a choir and cantor is required. Responsibilities include 3 weekend Masses, 1 weeknight choir rehearsal, additional seasonal rehearsals, additional yearly liturgies, availability for weddings and funerals and occasional work with the school children.

Immaculate Heart of Mary-St. Casimir School, Lansing is in the process of taking applications for the 2014/15 school year.  We have several part time positions available throughout the day working part time about 19 hours a week between the hours of 8-5:30.  All candidates must be at least 18 years old and we prefer experience working with children and some college education.   
 
We are looking for an energetic person who is self-motivated and loves children ages 3 to 13, creative and willing to take on the responsibilities for daily care.  This is a fun job and requires playing at children’s level as well as getting messy, laughing and enjoying their unique personalities.
 
We are also in the process of hiring a preschool teacher assistant for our morning 3 and 4 year old preschool class.  Experience working with children and college education preferred.
