Freelance Marketing Coordinator

FAITH Catholic Publishing and Communications is searching for a freelance marketing coordinator to execute a marketing plan for the Diocese of Lansing Catholic school system. This position will work under the direction of FAITH Catholic’s Director of Marketing and also will work directly with FAITH Catholic’s client, the superintendent of Catholic schools, or his designee.
The freelancer will work independently with minimal supervision, and therefore must be mature, responsible and organized. The job is primarily that of a multi-media content producer.

Writing brochures, press releases and advertising scripts
Creating content for e-newletters, parish bulletins and email campaigns

Maintaining contact with the system’s 34 school principals to provide ongoing     marketing support
Measuring specified matrixes and reporting on the success of the marketing plan

Essential skills include:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid photographer and videographer with basic grasp of uploading and editing content

Full Time Art Teacher

A profound understanding of liturgy, proficiency at playing the organ, experience with directing a choir and cantor is required. Foster Home Licensing Specialist

Foster Care Caseworker (2 Positions Available)

St Vincent Catholic Charities, Lansing
Provides and implements a workable plan to increase the level of functioning of the foster child and the birth family where applicable.  Works cooperatively with foster families, birth families, foster child, referral agency, school personnel, and other professional personnel involved in the treatment of the foster child.  Provides a consultative and supportive role for foster families in meeting the needs of the foster child. 
Duties include but are not limited to:
Attend, provide reports, and testify for required court hearings (Preliminary, Pre-Trial, Dispositional, Review, Permanent Wardship, etc.);
Prepare and place child in his/her designated foster home, determine child’s need of clothing and personal items, and inform foster parents of child’s background and other necessary information;
Complete Initial Service Plan within 30 days of the child entering agency care;
Complete Updated Service Plan quarterly for each child in care;
Follow DHS requirements for regular visitations or contact between foster child and the birth family;
Assist in placement of foster children into foster homes or in their return to the birth family or other permanent placement;
Complete all required paperwork for the Court and DHS throughout the case and during the supervision period;
Participate in 24-hour on-call rotation to answer crisis calls and provide supportive services to foster & adoptive parents, children, and their families;
Participate in any additional, reasonable, responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Foster Care Program Manager;
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human behavioral science,                         Master’s preferred.
Experience: Some clinical and case management experience with children and families preferred.

Medical Insurance Billing Specialist

The Medical Insurance Billing Specialist position is a full time regular position.  
Under the direction of the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting, responsible for the accounts receivable with main focus on outstanding receivable for the Counseling Services program of the agency. Follow-up and resolution with insurance companies and private pay clients when payment is not received; Contacting insurance carriers to investigate insurance benefits for clients; Maintenance of client information in insurance billing system; Billings to private pay clients; Coordinate the collection side of Counseling Services; Submitting insurance claims, both electronically and manually; Consultation with the Counseling Office Coordinator and Counseling Director regarding client balances, fee arrangements, or other client billing issues as appropriate; Filing of supporting billing documents; other accounts receivable duties and special projects as assigned.

Data Management Clerk (Part-Time)

A member of the Development, Community Relations, and Marketing Team, the position is responsible for assisting and supporting the team in the successful implementation of donor and community cultivation. Position is responsible for processing and reporting of all donor, volunteer, and gift information/acknowledgements, including daily contribution processing, scheduling management of donor cultivation contacts, and event information.

Handles donor inquiries, gift acknowledgements, and assisting the Outreach & Events Coordinator. 
Responsible for:
Electronic mailing lists; Data and pattern analysis; System enhancement and reporting; Creating reports; Daily/Monthly revenue report reconciliation w/STVCC’s Accounting department.
Information on donors, pledges, revenue sources (individual/corporate/special interest), and events is tracked in the Donor Perfect system (database). This position also offers clerical support for special projects, volunteer applications, and is a back-up role for the Agency’s main receptionist.
Successful Candidate would possess:
One year of experience as an Office Administrator or Manager;
Proficiency in MS Office;
