Welcome to Catholic Cemeteries

The office of Diocese of Lansing Catholic Cemeteries was created in 1998 to coordinate the management of diocesan cemeteries and provide consultative services to parishes with cemeteries.

The Diocese of Lansing Catholic Cemeteries minister to:

  • the deceased
  • the bereaved
  • the poor
  • the local Catholic communities

The six Diocesan Catholic Cemeteries of St. Joseph Cemetery (Lansing, Michigan), St. Patrick Cemetery (Woodhill Township, Michigan), Old and New Calvary Cemeteries (Flint, Michigan), All Saints Cemetery (Flint) and St. Michael Byzantine Cemetery (Flint) are committed to our Catholic families who entrust us with the care of their deceased loved ones in accord with its sacred character.

The service rendered by the cemetery staff is not limited to the day of burial.  The cemetery staff will be available to assist family, friends and relatives long after the day of burial.

Our endowed care cemeteries have a range of burial services including ground, mausoleum crypt, as well as cremation niches and urn gardens.
