The results are in! Over the past few months, FAITH Catholic, the publishers of FAITH magazine, the official publication of the Diocese of Lansing, has been carrying out an annual reader survey. Executive Summary: FAITH magazine is a high performing diocesan magazine that is read and enjoyed by the vast majority of readers. Its content is considered interesting and well-presented, and readers say it helps them understand their Catholic faith and share it with the people in their spheres of influence. Notably, almost 70 percent of all readers spend at least 15 minutes reading each issue, and this would include many who do not regularly attend Mass, which means the magazine is reaching people who are not necessarily practicing the faith. The survey proves that the magazine is an essential tool in communicating Bishop Boyea’s pastoral priorities and directly connects readers with ministries and services of the diocese.

2026 Key Results:

Engagement metrics are very high:

* 92% have read the most recent issue and 81.1% have read all three of the last three issues.

* 99% find the look and feel of the magazine attractive and 93% find the magazine interesting.

* 69.7% spend at least 15 minutes reading each issue of the magazine.

Content connects readers with discipleship and evangelization goals:

* 93.8% agree that reading FAITH makes me feel more connected to my Catholic faith

* 90.9% agree that reading the magazine improves my understanding of the mission and teachings of the Church

* 84.8% agree that reading the magazine gives me a greater sense of association with other Catholics in the local Church

* 74.7% agree that reading the magazine helps me explain my Catholic faith to family and friends.

The magazine communicates and amplifies Bishop Boyea’s emphasis on missionary discipleship as well as promoting support for parish and diocesan ministries:

* 83.6 percent of readers say the magazine supports their spiritual growth.

* 71.3% agree that reading the magazine encourages me to contribute to my parish financially and 71% agree encourages me to give to the Diocesan Services appeal

Conclusion: According to the survey, FAITH magazine is helping to evangelize and equip parishioners in the Diocese of Lansing to grow as missionary disciples. Readers are engaged with and appreciative of the publication. All of us at FAITH Catholic applaud the great work you are doing and the mission of the magazine!
