Take four faithful young men being ordained to the sacred priesthood and add two talented young filmmakers. The result? This wonderfully inspiring short film capturing the sights, sounds, joy, and solemnity of Saturday’s ordination at Saint Thomas Aquinas in East Lansing.
Those being ordained were Father Joshua Bauer, Father Jacob Derry, Father Ryan Ferrigan, and Father Peter Randolph. Meanwhile, the filmmakers were Matt Riedl and Michael Back. Matt is a former Catholic Media Association Videographer of the Year, and Michael is nominated for the award this year.
As Father Ferrigan said in his thanksgiving address, “It’s all about the glory of God and the salvation of souls!” Enjoy the film!
