This Saturday, June 6, will see these four young men ordained to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ for the Diocese of Lansing by Bishop Earl Boyea at Saint Thomas Aquinas parish in East Lansing. They are, left to right:
• Deacon Peter Randolph, Christ the King, Ann Arbor;
• Deacon Jacob Derry, St. John the Evangelist, Fenton;
• Deacon Joshua Bauer, St. Elizabeth, Tecumseh;
• Deacon Ryan Ferrigan, St. Martha, Okemos;
Watch the following film as all four ordinands prayerfully reflect upon their impending priesthood through the story of the chalice they will use to offer the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as priests. Let us pray:
Hear us, we beseech you, Lord, our God, and pour out on these your servants the blessing of the Holy Spirit, that these men, who are to be consecrated to your service, may be surrounded by your rich and unfailing grace. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
