Over 50 healthcare professionals gathered at Trinity Health's Ann Arbor Campus on Wednesday, February 25, to learn more about a Christian vision of medicine that calls us to see every person as created in the image of God and deserving of compassionate care.
The event was entitled "Life to the Last Breath: Christian Ethics for the Healthcare Worker". It mainly focussed upon the threat of physician assisted killing to the sick and vulnerable. The evening featured two keynote speakers: Dr. Kristin Collier of the University of Michigan and Dr. Charles Camosy of the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Watch to find out more.
