In a culture that increasingly devalues the vulnerable and encourages radical individualism, the Catholic Faith remains stalwart in its dedication to the teachings of Jesus Christ, caring for the vulnerable and loving our neighbor. Join us for “Life to the Last Breath: Catholic Hope and Witness in a Culture of Death,” a one-day event exploring what it truly means to “live and die well” in the light of faith.

Our keynote presentation by Dr. Charles Camosy, author of Living and Dying Well: A Catholic Plan for Resisting Physician-Assisted Killing, will examine the growing acceptance of physician-assisted suicide in our society and offer a Catholic response rooted in Scripture, Tradition, and the example of Christ and the saints. Dr. Camosy will help us see how living well, dying well, and accompanying others with dignity are all part of the same sacred calling.

The day will also include:

  • A panel discussion offering pastoral, hospice care, and legal perspectives on end-of-life challenges
  • Opportunities for faithful conversation and community reflection
  • Light breakfast and full lunch
  • Celebration of Holy Mass with Bishop Boyea

Together, we’ll seek to cultivate a counterculture of hospitality and mercy to bear witness to the truth that every life, from its first to its final breath, is a gift.
