Young adults ages 18-39 are invited to join us for a transformative pilgrimage to the only approved Marian apparition site in the nation, Our Lady of Champion, Wisconsin. Bring your special prayer intentions and discernment questions as we embark on a pilgrimage together.
For those of you interested in doing a Marian consecration in preparation for the pilgrimage, you will want to start a Marian consecration of your choice on April 28th so that the consecration day lands on the Feast of the Visitation, May 31st when we will be visiting Our Lady of Champion Shrine. As for additional details of the pilgrimage:
We have two days of about 7 hours of travel each day (Friday and Sunday). We will carpool and have some prayers along the way as well as just social talk in the car.
We will stop at Holy Hill National Shrine on Friday for a 2pm private Mass which is a new addition to the pilgrimage…so that will be a bonus to this trip! Here’s the website: https://www.holyhill.com/
Then we will do dinner at the Norbertine Monastery. Then have an opening talk/reflection on pilgrimaging and Mother Mary. The rest of the night will be getting to know everyone and having some social time with cards/games/talking for those who would like to do that. Prayer time too.
Saturday is a pretty full day at the National Shrine of our Lady of Champion where the Marian apparition site is located. We will have much prayer and pilgrimage reflection time there. Upon returning, we will do a 6 mile hike (3 miles each way) from the Norbertine monastery to the Shrine of St. Joseph before dinner in the city at a restaurant. Then we will end the evening with a bit more of reflection time of the pilgrimage as a group as well as social time.
Sunday will be breakfast, morning prayer, Mass at the Norbertine Monastery, and mainly the ride back home.
