Well done to the dozens of children and teens who took part in this summer's "chant camp" held at Saint Thomas the Apostle parish in Ann Arbor. The week long school, July 28 to August 1, aimed at helping young people learn Gregorian chant, hymns and other sacred music for use during Holy Mass.
The camp was directed by staff from Canticle, a Catholic apostolate founded in 2019 with the mission of drawing souls to Jesus Christ through the beauty of sacred music.
Those young people taking part also attended daily Mass culminating in a Votive Mass of the Sacred Heart at the end of the week for which the camp graduates provided the music. Watch to find out more.
