Reverend Joseph Krupp – oath of fidelity

Bishop Earl Boyea celebrated Mass at St. Mary on the Lake, Manitou Beach. He was there to welcome the new pastor, Reverend Joseph Krupp, at the Mass of Installation.The Bishop shared, “We want to get closer to God during Advent. He gave us gifts to bring us closer. We need to pray for faith, pray for hope and pray for love or charity.”
After Father Krupp renewed his ordination promises and gave an oath of fidelity, he told about receiving the news of his pastorates on March 19, 2012.
“I called my sister, Heidi. I told her I was being transferred to Manitou Beach and Hudson,” he said. She reminded him she sent an email six months prior telling him the Lord would give him something wonderful on March 19.
Father Krupp continued, “I can promise you I am blessed beyond measure to be here. Family is a blessed word. You will carry me. I will carry you. You have my heart. I offer you God’s heart, love and energy.”
