Please pray for our seminarians

Please pray for the Diocese of Lansing’s 31 seminarians who begin a new academic year this week, including 11 new starts – the largest intake of new seminarians in over a decade. Deo gratias!

“The Lord is abundantly blessing the Diocese of Lansing this year and we pray that these young men will have the grace to pursue their priestly vocation if God is indeed calling them to the priesthood,” said Father John Whitlock, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Lansing, September 1.

At present, the Diocese of Lansing seminarians are sent to study at three different seminaries: 14 are in formation at Saint John Vianney College Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota; 16 are in formation at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan; and one is in formation at the Pontifical North American College in Rome.

Saint Charles Borromeo, patron of seminarians, pray for them!
