"Behold, I will open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people," (Ezekiel 37:12). This is the promise of our God, who alone can bring life from death, healing from heartbreak, and light from the darkest valleys. The Diocese of Lansing’s Office of Fertility & Life, in partnership with Red Bird Ministries, invites mothers who have experienced the loss of a child, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, or in infancy, to join us for a weekend of revival and healing. Women who attended past Revival retreats have said:
“This absolutely wrecked me in the best way.”
“I left feeling lighter, knowing the Lord carries me.”
“It was the first time I felt completely understood since my loss.”
“This is a Catholic, faith-based retreat. You cannot find anything like this. I know, I’ve searched.”
This overnight retreat is a place to encounter Jesus in the Sacraments, in the company of other mothers of loss. The weekend includes Mass, Adoration, guided reflections, and compassionate and practical support from trained facilitators who are also on this journey. Confession, spiritual direction, and counseling will also be available.
