Fatherhood: "An Immeasurable Gift"

The latest edition of FAITH Magazine, the official publication of the Diocese of Lansing, is dedicated to fatherhood and features a special interview with three generations of men from one Ann Arbor family who describe fatherhood as “an immeasurable gift”.

“I love fatherhood. I love being a dad. When I’m not working, I throw myself wholeheartedly into family life,” says dad Jeff Randolph standing next to his son, Peter, and the grandfather of the clan, Deacon Larry Randolph.

“I always remember Bishop Emeritus Carl Mengeling saying many times that ‘the best thing you can do for your children is to love your wife’, and I know that loving my wife gives security to my kids,” added Jeff who is a parishioner at Christ the King parish.

“I love to spend time with my kids. I’ve learned a lot about that, too. One of the things I try to remember is another way to spell love is T-I-M-E.”

With the Church approaching the Feast of Saint Joseph on March 19, this month’s FAITH magazine also includes a feature on the saintly spouse of Our Lady plus an article by Bishop Boyea of Lansing on why Saint Joseph is such a good role model for any parent. Read more at: https://faithmag.com/
