Death Notice: Monsignor Raymond Joseph Goehring R.I.P.

Of your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of Monsignor Raymond Joseph Goehring J.C.L. who died on Saturday, March 18, 2023. He was 84-years-old. May he rest in peace. The exequies for Monsignor Goehring are as follows:

Visitation at Saint Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave, Lansing, from 9am on Friday, March 24, 2023, followed by Requiem Mass at 10am. Bishop Boyea will be the principal celebrant.  

Raymond Joseph Goehring was born on July 17, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was ordained to the sacred priesthood on June 6, 1964 by the Most Reverend Joseph Albers, Bishop of Lansing, at Saint Mary Cathedral in Lansing. During his 59-years of priesthood, he served in the following posts:
