An appeal for prayers: New vocations posters sent to parishes

Here are two new posters featuring the 31 young men from the Diocese of Lansing who are in formation for the sacred priesthood and the 15 young women from the Diocese of Lansing who are in formation for religious life. Both posters are already on their way to a parish near you!

"The purpose of these posters is to encourage our clergy and lay faithful to pray for those young men and women who are featured on them," said Dawn Hausmann, Director of Consecrated Vocations for the Diocese of Lansing.

"In fact, a nice practice is to 'adopt' one young man and one young woman who you, and your family, promise to remember in prayer each and every day."

"Hopefully, the posters will also provide a spark of inspiration, as well as courage, to those young men and young women who are presently discerning God's call to the priesthood or religious life."

Dawn is pictured here on the left. Next to her is the poster designer, Michelle Hildebrandt, Creative Services Manager with the Diocese of Lansing. On their right is Father John Whitlock, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Lansing.
