Join young adults from across the state of Michigan this summer for a Catholic pilgrimage weekend of camping, prayer, friendship, and hiking to the Shrine of the Cross in the Woods in Indian River.

WhoYoung adults ages 18-39 are welcome

When:July 23-25, 2021
Friday evening (arrive when you can, dinner on your own), through Saturday & Sunday afternoon

Where:Pilgrimage to the National Shrine of the Cross in the Woods in Indian River & camping nearby.

Cost: $45 per person

Deadline to register:  July 16, 2021

What is included: 2 nights of campsite reservation, Meals for Saturday and Sunday, one day of hiking (Saturday) on the North Central Trail (13.5 miles) between Lakes Burt & Mullett to the Shrine of the Cross in the Woods.  Mass both days and an overall pilgrimage experience with the opportunity to meet new friends and grow closer to God.

Transportation & Tents: You may be able to carpool with others from your area, and others may have tents large enough to share.
You're ultimately responsible to confirm your own transportation to the campground and back home, and also bring your own sleeping gear, snacks, and either your own tent or confirm sharing with someone.

The plan is to hike on Saturday 13.5 miles on the North Central trail and end at the Cross in the Woods.  Let us know in your comments if you would prefer a bit less of a hike if that seems too much for you.
