The emphasis is on the Sacraments of Baptism. Reconciliation, and the Eucharist.

Parvuli Dei Award
The Parvuli Dei means Little Children of God. This program helps the Bear or Webelos Scout explore a wide range of activities with his family in order to discover the presence of God in his daily life. As a special part of God's creation, each boy learns what it means to be a member of God's family and of his own family, and about how to care for one another.

Ad Altare Dei Award
Ad Altare means To the Alter of God. Helped by a certified counselor, the Boy Scout learns to grow as a Catholic. Scouting's values and family life are used as a starting point to understand the Sacraments. Scripture readings and projects reinforce the meanings of the seven Sacraments. Special emphasis is placed on how the Sacraments can help the Scout throughout his life.

Pope Pius XII Emblem
Pope Pius XII had a strong devotion to the cause of lay spirituality. In this program, high school youths, in small groups, study and discuss their role as young Catholics in today's society. Through scripture, readings, interviews, and a prayer service, the youth can become more aware of where their Christian lives can lead in the future. The youth lead meetings with an adult counselor as a moderator. This Pope Pius XII Emblem is awarded to Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts.
