Dear friends in Christ,

The seminarians in these pages are not only remarkable men, but living witnesses of God's fidelity to his promise.
To Jeremiah: "I will give you shepherds after my own heart."  This promise is still at work in the Church in these men and for two preniares millenia.  They and all priests are the loving outpouring of the Holy Spirit. These men of faith, hope and courage have freely opened themselves to the Holy Spirit in an intense program of human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation. In response to God's gift, the entire chuch accompanies these priestly vocations prayerfully and lovingly. These men are of "the household of the faith' in our diocese; one with us and yearning to serve us in Jesus' name.
