Welcome to Restorative Justice

The Office of Restorative Justice is committed to serving all people behind the walls of a prison or jail in our diocese who seek the fellowship and wisdom of Catholic priests and laymen working within their institutions. The office is also working with men and women who are paroled into our communities and seeking to reestablish normal patterns of life and work and bearing the stigma of "ex-offender". Restorative Justice has the goal of working with children of incarcerated parents, with victims, with juvenile offenders and any others affected by the correctional system.

The Restorative Justice Office is always looking for volunteers to do work both inside and outside the prisons and jails. It also has constant need for more volunteers to correspond with inmates through our Prisoner Pen Pal Program, one of the largest and most successful in the country.

If you believe you may have a heart for working with prisoners or parolees, please contact us.
