Mission Statement

Pastoral planning calls the Church to collaborate in the mission of Jesus Christ. This ministry is a continuing process of listening, surfacing needs, assessing resources, planning and implementing a faith-filled response.

The Office of Pastoral Planning (OPP) is ready to serve the diocese in several ways:    
as the catalyst and resource to parishes, regions and the diocese in the implementation of the seven goals of the diocesan pastoral plan
as an Office of Research in collecting, compiling and analyzing data for various diocesan entities
as a resource to parish pastoral councils
as the liaison to the newly formed Diocesan Pastoral Council
