What Does the Church Teach About Natural Family Planning?

The teachings of the Catholic Church and especially Humanae Vitae are at the heart of NFP.  The United State Council of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) requests that all dioceses in the U.S. establish NFP programs to educate the faithful in the purpose and practice of NFP.  In September of 2001, the Diocesan NFP Program was established bases on the 1990 Guidelines set forth by the USCCB.

The NFP Program is constantly evolving, adding new educational opportunitites and expanding course availability to all regions of the diocese.  It is dedicated to helping all members of the diocese learn about the beautiful gift of fertility.  It is a resource for all the faithful to increase in understanding of Natural Family Planning and the Church's teachings regarding NFP.
