Below is a list of the Migrant camps located within the Diocese of Lansing. We are looking for priests, deacons and lay volunteers who would be willing to visit these camps. The bishop has previously asked for priests to go into camps to say mass and/or listen to confessions. He also asked that deacons visit these camps regularly and have prayer services as well as Bible study groups. Lay volunteers could help with any of the above as well as coordinate volunteers going into each camp and making sure the migrant workers have all they need both physically and spiritually. Sometimes these workers only need a friend and other times they need food, clothing and other necessities.
