Catholic Deaf/HH Ministry seeks to establish an active Catholic Deaf Community throughout the dicoese as well as facilitate communication between the Deaf Community and the parishes. The goal is for Deaf/Hard of Hearing to be fully included in the life of the Church.

Fr. Michael Depcik, OSFS has his own website which consists of a VLOG or
visual blog all in American Sign Language (ASL). The Sunday homilies, the
Rosary with each set of Mysteries; Stories about Saints and other links

Summer
Programs for the Deaf at De Sales Center
This summer, De Sales Center in Brooklyn, MI will have two programs with
a strong religious focus. One is the Deaf Youth Leadership Week – July
20-25 for youth age 13-16 the other is the Religious ASL Week – July
27-August 1 for priests, deacons, lectors and interpreters. For more

Deaf Pilgrims Will Go To Rome
The Catholic Mass shown daily and Sundays on EWTN is now being live captioned for deaf and hard of hearing people. The Mass is shown live at 8:00am, with repeats at 12:00pm, 7:00pm and 12:00am. Check with your cable provider to locate the EWTN channel in your area. Please share this information. EWTN would appreciate hearing from viewers about this new service.
