vote no on proposal two

2 Goes 2 Far

The Diocese of Lansing - along with the other six dioceses of Michigan - has joined in the statewide coalition to defeat Proposal 2 on the Michigan ballot this fall.  Proposal 2 asks Michigan voters to decide whether to radically amend the state constitution to allow lethal research on live human embryos.

MiCause (the Michigan Citizens Against Unrestricted Science & Experimentation)  Ballot Question Committee was formed to fight against this measure, and to defeat Proposal 2 on November 4. Experimenting on and destroying human embryos is not the cure Michigan needs.
