National Catechetical Sunday

National Catechetical Sunday, designated by the US Catholic Bishops as the 3rd Sunday in September each year, is set aside as a time to recognize this essential ministry of the Church.

In 2008, the theme is: "The Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church"
