Genesee Vicariate

 Saints Charles and Helena, Clio (1 priest), will be the canonical pastor of Saint Francis, Otisville (PC and SM), with assistance in back up sacramental ministry from Saint Mary, Mount Morris (1 priest), with the promulgation of this plan.         UPDATE: Completed
 
Saint John, Davison (2 priests), and Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Burton (formerly Blessed Sacrament Parish), will merge with two worship sites when necessary.

The pastor of Saint Robert, Flushing (2 priests), will be the canonical pastor of Good Shepherd, Montrose (PC and SM), and have back up responsibility for sacramental ministry with the promulgation of this plan.  UPDATE: Good Shepherd has a pastor.

Saint Michael, Flint, will cluster with the possibility of merging with Saint Mary, Flint (1 priest, canonical pastor), with the promulgation of this plan.  UPDATE: In process.

Christ the King, Flint, will cluster with Saint Matthew, Flint, if and when necessary.  UPDATE:  Christ the King has a pastor.

The pastor of Holy Family, Grand Blanc (2 priests), will be the canonical pastor of Saint Mark, Goodrich (PC).  The chaplain of Powers High School will have full responsibility for sacramental ministry for Saint Mark with the promulgation of this plan. UPDATE: Saint Mark has a pastor.

Saint Leo, Flint, will merge with Holy Rosary, Flint (1 priest).  Saint Leo will begin the process of closure with the promulgation of this plan. UPDATE: Completed November 23, 2008.

Saint Agnes, Flint; Sacred Heart, Flint; and Saint Luke, Flint merged with Saint John Vianney, Flint (1 priest).  Saint Agnes, Sacred Heart and Saint Luke sites will close by August 31, 2008. UPDATE: Saint Agnes completed on August 17, 2008; Sacred Heart completed on July 31, 2008; Saint Luke completed on August 3, 2008.

All Saints Church, Flint, will merge with Saint John Vianney, Flint, when pastor retires.

Holy Redeemer, Burton
(1 priest)

Saint John, Fenton (2 priests), shares back up sacramental responsibility with Saint Mary, Durand, for Saint Joseph, Gaines (PC and SM), with the promulgation of this plan.
